The following instructions will guide you in installing the Mainframe emulator software that will enable you to work on the Mainframe computer during the course. Please follow the instructions carefully.

IMPORTANT: This download is from Google Drive.
When you click on the Download button in Step 1, you may receive the message as seen on the right:
There was a problem with the preview.
In that case, continue by clicking on the blue Download button below that message.
You may also receive the message as seen on the right: Google Drive can’t scan this file for viruses.
In this case, continue by clicking on the blue Download anyway button below that message.

If you have already downloaded the emulation software, you can this step.
Click on the button to the right to download the
ibm-370-emulation.zip file to your computer.
Afterwards, unzip the contents of the main folder PCOM5.9 to a new folder of that name.

From the PCOM5.9 folder, double click on setup.exe

From the menu, double-click on Install Product

When prompted by the Installer, click on Next.

Afterwards, accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next.

Type in your User name, and click Next

Choose the Typical installation, and click Next

Choose Classic Private Directory,
and click Next

On the next prompt, continue to Install until complete.
